  7. addition  to Godhead/Reflex's article
  8. in  Upstream #6 called:"What the heck
  9. is elite"

  11. Godflesh   asked   about  some  other
  12. people's  oppinion about all the guys
  13. writing ONLY ELITE and I'M ELITE etc.
  14. in every addvertisment.

  16. First of all I would like to say that
  17. I share Godhead's point of view ,that
  18. it's   very  weird  that  all  people
  19. suddenly  have  been  called (by them
  20. self) Elite.

  24. Nahh,I don't think so.  I think I can
  25. anwser  why everybody write 'I'M HOT'
  26. etc.   I think that it's because they
  27. want  more  contacts.   Addvertisment
  28. are  mainly  written  because  people
  29. would   like   to   have   some  more
  30. contacts,and normaly it isn't cool to
  31. swap with a lamer so who would write:
  32. 'ONLY LAMERS ALLOWED TO WRITE ON THIS
  33. ADD.'???  so there we have one of the
  34. anwsers allready...

  36. Okay   I  think  it's  kind  of  lame
  37. writing  "only  elite -etc".  but the
  38. weird  thing is that I do it myself i
  39. really  don't  know  why  but I can't
  40. afford  to  write with some guys whom
  41. can't  provide  hot  stuff  or  arn't
  42. friendly   so  the  most  simple  way
  43. ¶should  be  to  write  only elite,but
  44. belive  me  it  won't  work.  it have
  45. rather   the   opposite  reaction  at
  46. people,because    most   of   think(i
  47. think,he he) ohh,his very cool and if
  48. I  swap  with  him  i'm very cool to.
  49. even  if  the  guys just have entered
  50. the  scene  and  have no more than 10
  51. contatcs or so.

  53. To  be  honest  I CAN'T afford it so
  54. nowadays  I  just  wait  and see what
  55. will happen so the "lamers" or should
  56. I say the guys I aren't intressted in
  57. swapping  with  will just loose their
  58. disk!

  62. Isn't  it  too  hard to say?  for the
  63. swappers  atleast, I mean on the real
  64. scene  everybody  can  see (and hear)
  65. who's  cool  and who's not.  it can't
  66. take  a long time to say that SLAMMER
  67. is  a cool coder by looking on one of
  68. his  productions  etc.  but how about
  69. swappers?   I  think you really can't
  70. say that the cool swappers are in the
  71. cool  crews.   Or  should  I say less
  72. known crews?!  i,for instance do know
  73. quite  alot  "unknowers" who is quite
  74. fast/friendly  swappers  but  if they
  75. write  in  a  addvertisment>NO LAMERS
  76. bla.   bla.   people  just think that
  77. his  lame  and  it's  just because he
  78. want to seem cool.  But if one of the
  79. more  known  swappers  are  doing the
  80. same thing people will respect it and
  81. say:  yeahh, ofcause he don't want to
  82. swap with any lamers 'coz his cool.

  84. who you are...

  86. It's  like the real life,the more you
  87. are known,the more you can do without
  88. people  are  comming at you.  But HOW
  89. can  we  find  the  real  elite?  but
  90. first  of  all how would YOU definate
  91. an  ELITER??   should  he  be known??
  92. good??  friendly??  or what should he
  93. be?,i(and   proberly   also  Godhead)
  94. would  like  to  know yours oppinion.
